SECOND ANNUAL STYT SWIM-A-THON

May 31, 2026

What started as a goal to raise $100,000 turned into something so much bigger. After a donor match challenge, this community raised $300,000 for Stronger Than You Think.

Because of you, kids are gaining access to swim lessons, women and girls are receiving prosthetics, para athletes are receiving training and travel funding, and 8 year old Belle received a running blade from A Step Ahead Prosthetics so she can run again.

Kate Douglass, Gia Pergolini, and Chloe Humphrey made everyone’s day with autographs and photos.

Running With Purpose

NYC Marathon

November 2, 2025

Two years ago, after losing my leg, I never imagined I’d run again. Let alone a marathon!

On November 2, 2025, I ran the New York City Marathon on a prosthetic running blade, surrounded by 12 family members and friends.

Together, we raised over $220,000 to help women and girls with limb differences receive the prosthetics they need to live freely and fully.

I crossed the finish line in 4:14, a reminder that strength, community, and purpose can carry you farther than you ever imagined.

Thank you to everyone who ran, donated, volunteered, and believed in this mission. I couldn’t have done this without you.

First Annual STYT Swim-A-Thon
May 10, 2025

Our first-ever Stronger Than You Think Swim-A-Thon brought our community to the pool and far beyond it. We raised over $100,000, surpassing our original $50,000 goal by more than 200%, to support water safety, access to prosthetics, and the Paralympic movement.

Nearly 200 swimmers showed up to swim, 100 cheerers lined the deck with encouragement, and many more participated remotely from pools across the country.
