Two years ago when I lost my leg, I thought I’d never run again. Let alone a marathon!
On November 2, 2025, I ran the New York City Marathon on a prosthetic running blade surrounded by 12 family members and friends.
Together, we raised over $220,000 to help women and girls with limb differences receive the prosthetics they need to live freely and fully.
I finished the race in 4 hours and 14 minutes, proving that strength, community, and purpose can take you farther than you ever imagined.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, ran, donated, and helped make this dream possible. I truly couldn’t have done any of it without my people and this incredible community that keeps showing up.
